Thanks for an amazing first year!

Thank you so much in helping with the realization of the FIRST EVER Okotoks Film Festival. We would specifically like to thank all our audience, filmmakers, donors, and incredible sponsors for all your efforts to make 2017 such an incredible year!! With much support and hard work we were able to bring over 60 films from around the world, including countries such as Spain, Argentina, Australia, and Norway, to Okotoks. We were so happy to accept the film “The Caravan Film” from Millarville as our first feature film, along with many more home-grown films. Along with all the great films we had intriguing talkbacks, workshops, and wild parties. We can’t wait to see what the Foothills and rest of the world brings to the table for the 2018 Festival!

Our next Festival will run from June 8-10 2018, and submissions open September 1st. Visit our Submissions page for more information, or check out our new Past Festivals section to reminisce on a great year.

Congrats to all our filmmakers, your work is valued and inspiring.

See everyone next year!
