24 Hour Horror Filmmaking Challenge

Can you make an extra scary horror movie? Can you do it in ONLY 24 hours?

Teams are given a HORROR genre, prop and line of dialogue to use and will then have 24 hours to write, shoot and edit their film. All films that are completed before the deadline and meet the guidelines of the challenge will be screened that the same weekend online, and awards will be presented to films for Best Film, Best Use of Prop, Best Use of Line, Best Use of Genre and Audience Choice. This challenge is not designed for children.

Rules

Films created during the challenge will be 3-6 minutes in length, and must use a specified genre, prop and and line of dialogue.

Packages will be emailed to participants at 6PM on October 18, 2023.

Upload your film before 6PM on October 19, 2022. Films uploaded after 6PM on the 19th will still be screened, but will not be eligible for any awards (except Audience Choice).

Contact for each team MUST be over the age of 18.
