24-hour Online HORROR Film Challenge! You will have just 24 hours to create a short film that will scare the pants off all who watch. Oooooo, spooky!

Teams are given a HORROR genre, prop and line of dialogue to use and will then have 24 hours to write, shoot and edit their film. All films that are completed before the deadline and meet the guidelines of the challenge will be screened that the same weekend online, and awards will be presented to films for Best Film, Best Use of Prop, Best Use of Line, Best Use of Genre and Audience Choice. This challenge is not designed for children.

Rules

Films created during the challenge will be 3-6 minutes in length, and must use a specified genre, prop and and line of dialogue.

Packages will be emailed to participants at 6 PM on October 17, 2025.

Upload your film before 6 PM on October 18, 2025. Films uploaded after 6 PM on the 19th will still be screened, but will not be eligible for any awards (except Audience Choice).

Contact for each team MUST be over the age of 18. CONSIDER ALL SAFETY GUIDELINES WHEN DECIDING HOW TO FILM

The screening event will be LIVE ONLINE on October 19 at 6 PM
